How to register an account on Life Insurance Company - LIC official website

Nowadays everybody is very busy with his work. People do not have time to go to a bank and meet bank officials to get banking services. They do all the banking activities online. If you have a demat account, then you can do even your investment online in mutual funds, shares or equities. But when it comes to LIC (Life Insurance Company), they still are fixing a meeting with LIC agent to pay the premium or other services. But if you register an account in LIC  web portal then any time you can check your policy status and pay your premium. You can do other activities like generating consolidated premium paid certificate, register complaints, SMS subscription etc.
Steps for registration: 

Step1: Go to www.licindia.in
Step2: Click on New User
Step3: Fill any of your policy details (Policy no, installment premium), date of birth and email id. Click on proceed 
Step4: Now new user needs to select a user id and password. after submitting all required information, you need to take a print out of that form and duly signed by you. You have to submit your form with a photocopy of latest premium receipt at LIC branch office. Your agent may help you to submit the form. Once you submit the form, LIC staffs will process your application to activate your account. After few days they will validate your account and then you can do all activities by using your account.  


                                     


Once your account will get activated then you can enroll multiple policy of yours very easily. You can pay premium very easily and get consolidated premium paid statement with few clicks.

To Pay policy premium, you need to click on Pay Premium Online and then you can see the above-attached image in front of you. You have to select policy type and premium option and submit. You will get a list of your enrolled policies. Then you select policies for which you want to pay the premium. 

You can also pay LIC premium without registering your account but then you can not get other services like consolidated LIC premium payment statement, LIC policy status, vested bonus etc.
